With almost a decade of graphic design and project coordination experience, I am confident that my work ethic and ability to provide quality visual communication materials will have a positive impact on your organization. 

My past experience in the local and federal government (Department of Energy and Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission) has given me a deep appreciation for building and maintaining relationships with internal offices. Working across multiple organizations, I manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to their individual branding guidelines. Assisting these offices with building an online presence included creating email newsletters, social media graphics and overall branding identity. Due to my ability to carry out the vision and goals of my clients, I was able to successfully reinstate the Department of Energy Germantown graphics office’s presence post pandemic. 

Additionally, in my role as a Design Production Associate at Ford’s Theatre, I coordinated marketing and design related projects by creating design schedules, collaborated with other departments and analyzed website traffic using Google analytics. Another part of my role was to create, carefully edit and review design work before they are published. Some of the marketing materials that I have worked on have been published in the Washington Post.

During my time at Signs by Tomorrow, I regulated signage production and ensured that projects were fulfilled accurately and on time. I led daily production meetings and supervised our seasonal interns. My team and I produced dozens of different forms of signage daily. I was a successful liaison between the design/ sales department and the production department. In 2018 I won the “Key Contributor to Success” award. Working in a fast paced environment, such as Signs by Tomorrow, showed me my strengths in quick learning and communication. 

I continue to learn new skills everyday in my career from my colleagues and individual trial and error. Having worked in the field of visual media, I have developed a critical eye for catching flaws and mistakes.
